Sangha bezeichnet im Buddhismus eigentlich die Gemeinschaft der Nonnen und Mönche. Darüber hinaus sind damit aber auch Laien gemeint, also Personen, die sich ganz normal im Alltag an Buddhas Lehren orientieren und danach leben. Sangha zählt zu den sog. „drei Juwelen des Buddhismus“.
